Old establishment that has been well maintained. There are two onsens, one at the basement and one on the top floor. The one on the top floor was rather small and can be uncomfortable if there were three or more using it. It doesn't face Mt Fuji but you can see the lake from there. The basement one was spacious and luxurious. I had a room that overlooked Mt Fuji, so we could see Mt Fuji during sunrise and sunset. It was great. Breakfast was Japanese style and was ok. Room was spacious and the toilet was separated from the bathroom. I loved the Japanese style room but my mum didn't, so it depends on personal preference. Although there are a few restaurants around the hotel, they are mostly closed in the late afternoon, but we managed to find one ramen place open into the night nearby that also served set meals with udon or rice. There's also a rather new self service laundry place nearby. The hotel is near the cable car station, about 5 mins walk, so I'd recommend getting up early and try to walk towards it around 8.30am as there'd be a queue even before it opens at 9. It's worth the wait. There are buses passing by the hotel but during peak tourist periods like spring and autumn, the buses are always packed. Hail a taxi instead, the price difference isn't that great if you are travelling in a group of two or more. At the hotel they can get you a taxi. Don't bother taking the bus if you are coming from the train station. The ten mins walk would probably get you to the hotel faster.

Great onsen hotel. We stayed in the tatami floor room that had a view of Mt Fuji. It was beautiful sight to wake up to clear autumn skies and Mt fuji in full view. We organised drop off and pick up from Kawaguchiko station with the hotel which was convenient, however the stations is only a 10 min walk and we enjoyed a leisurely walk exploring the shops along the way as well. The hotel is right in front of the lake which was quite scenic and felt serene especially during sunset and sunrise. Would recommend using both B1 and Level 7 onsen, both with great views. We made sure to use the onsen every night to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The traditional breakfast was delicious and was different for the 3 days we stayed. Overall would recommend this hotel, it was great experience for us and would come back again. Staff were professional, hospitable and friendly and communicated well with us.

The room was very clean and someone from the Hotel accompanied us to our room upon check in and showed us the facilities in the room. Our room was facing the lake and it was a beautiful look out to Lake Kawaguchiko. There were 2 onsen baths, one in the basement and another on the 7th floor. We had a really relaxing bath, with clear instructions as to how to use the onsen. We also tried out the massage in the hotel and it was not too bad. The souvenir shop had a wide variety of goodies which is worth getting. There is also a hotel shuttle to and fro to Kawaguchiko bus station. The hotel also responded to all our queries online, before we arrived and they were very prompt. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Highly recommend!

Meals were excellent and they fulfilled my meal requests eg no sashimi etc Good location with the free shuttle bus provided, directly facing lake kawaguchiko, it was raining and couldn't do much visiting hence grateful for the lake view from the room. Used public onsen and 2/3 times I was able to use it alone during non peak hours such as 11am and 3pm, did not need to use pte onsen that comes with extra cost 3300 yen for 50mins Love the modern amenities within the tatami room such as water dispenser, air purifier, warm toilet bowl etc This hotel also has everythg such as cafe at 2nd floor, shoes washer, washer and dryer (B1) etc

The room is beautiful and big. I was lucky to get a room with Mount Fuji view though I was unable to request for it. There was sufficient pantry items like hot water and cold water. The room has humidifier which is very important for cold and dry weather in Japan. Hotel provides transport to/fro Kawaguchiko station for check in and after check out. You can contact the Tourism center service staff to help you call the hotel. Hotel is very near to Panaroma Ropeway. It is also near a convenience store and some eateries nearby. Bus stops nearby too!
