The room we booked came with a private onsen tub, adjoining to the shower. The private onsen was definitely the highlight of the stay, as we could dipped into the onsen twice a day - one in the morning before going out and one in the evening after coming back tired. It was rejuvenating. Only thing is the adjoining shower means this is very ideal for couple staying but maybe a bit difficult for a family or friends. The room is considered nice size for the 2 of us, while the interior and furniture are a bit dated but functional. The kaiseki dinners and breakfasts had have many dishes as expected of such, and the good things they don't served the same for the 3D2N stays we did. While we ate a lot till very full, my opinion was more on the quality, as we experienced premium quality elsewhere. They were good just not as premium as I would like, but they weren't bad at all. The location is fantastic though it is not Fuji san facing. The frontdesk staffs were very polite and helpful. Keep up the service quality, we were honoured to be the guests.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The complimentary shuttle from/to Kawaguchiko station was prompt and courteous. Our 6th floor tatami room was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake. We loved its traditional style and homely but luxurious feel. The whole place had a warm and soothing, calm atmosphere. The onsen was great. The hotel location was perfect - 2 mins walk to the Ropeway, and with a sightseeing bus stop right outside the went to the station and to all the lakeside sights nearby. The food was exceptional - beautifully-presented multi-dish dinner served in our room felt so special. So the hotel was wonderful, but the *staff* made our stay exceptional. *Every* staff member was a joy to deal with. They went the extra mile to be helpful, were always genuinely friendly and so kind, and radiated calm competence and good humour. We felt blessed to be treated in such a special way. It made a lovely trip feel extra wonderful. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff.💝

Great location, right by the lake and easy to find! The hotel has a really nice charm and more traditional feel to it. I’ve never stayed in a ryokan before so we don’t have anything to compare with, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. From the very beginning til the end of our stay, the staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. We had some issues with our luggage transfer (not the hotels fault), but the staff went above and beyond to help us out and find a solution. Really appreciated that. The hotel room itself was very spacious, peaceful and comfortable! It was such a nice change of pace after staying in lots of small cramped city hotels on our trip. We booked the private onsen ahead of time, and we loved it. It was such a nice experience to overlook the lake and relax in the hot springs!

We had a fantastic stay in a traditional style Japanese room overlooking the lake. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and you get a good view of Mt Fuji from the viewing deck on level 7. We also hired a private onsen that overlooked the lake and it was clean, relaxing, and such a nice way to unwind from our travels throughout Japan. We had a private dining experience and the food was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing, and great value for money in our opinion. Location was great and we were able to hired bikes from a store a few doors down. The hotel also has a shuttle bus which makes coming and going from the train station easy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel. Staff were also very attentive and helpful.

The room was very clean and someone from the Hotel accompanied us to our room upon check in and showed us the facilities in the room. Our room was facing the lake and it was a beautiful look out to Lake Kawaguchiko. There were 2 onsen baths, one in the basement and another on the 7th floor. We had a really relaxing bath, with clear instructions as to how to use the onsen. We also tried out the massage in the hotel and it was not too bad. The souvenir shop had a wide variety of goodies which is worth getting. There is also a hotel shuttle to and fro to Kawaguchiko bus station. The hotel also responded to all our queries online, before we arrived and they were very prompt. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Highly recommend!
